To create a delivery simply follow the following steps:
Orders > Select the pending orders ["Not prepared"] > Click on the three dots located at the bottom > Select "Create orders in OrkestraOS
If you left the checkout option activated in the settings, you'll be able to filter the deliveries corresponding to Shippify in the "tag" column. On the other hand, if you activated the shipping options in the checkout, you can also filter by the tags corresponding to each option. This will allow you to filter all the deliveries you have to send with us and create them in bulk.
Then the OrkestraOS app will open with the following modal, where you can choose the type of delivery to be made (this in case you have deactivated the shipping options in the checkout):
Afterward, the deliveries are sent to Shippify's servers, and you will see the creation process as follows:
During the order creation process, a Job ID will be generated for each order and added as a tag to the order.
After finishing the creation process, you will be able to see your deliveries created in Shippify with the status of 'Processing'. If the address could not be found, they will be created with the status 'Pending to review' so you will need to correct them immediately by clicking on the pencil icon.
If you don't make this correction, we won't be able to route that delivery correctly, and it won't be able to be collected, so it's essential that you fix it so we can continue with the process and nothing is left undelivered. To do this, simply select the pencil located on the right side of the order.
Note:
Many times, due to spelling errors by customers or lack of details in the address, the system cannot find the latitude and longitude, so they move to the 'Pending review' state. We suggest that you communicate in the best possible way to your customer how they should enter their address, so you can save yourself the trouble of having to correct it manually :)
When selecting the created deliveries, you can perform several actions on them such as:
Download guide report
Download label report
Download delivery report
Add digital tags
Cancel deliveries
The monitoring of deliveries is managed in two tabs: 'IN PROGRESS' and 'SENT'.
The state changes are in real-time, and deliveries IN PROGRESS have the following 'life cycle':
Processing or Pending review: all deliveries are created with the Processing status. If it is not properly located, it is created as Pending review, and a store operator must correct it. Deliveries in the Processing state are waiting to be assigned to a driver for their respective collection. Only in this state can deliveries be canceled.
Assigned: After Processing, deliveries will move to Assigned to a Shipper (carrier). In this state, the warehouse administrator must do the respective sorting of the packages according to the routes created by Shippify, for their respective collection.
Collected: The assigned Shipper has already collected the packages and is following their delivery route.
Delivered: The Shipper has already delivered the package, but delivery confirmation is pending.
Deliveries in the SENT tab can be:
Completed: The delivery has been delivered and marked as completed.
Cancelled: The delivery has been canceled.
