FAQs
What type of delivery can we create with the Application?
It's possible to create deliveries type Flex and On demand.
What are Flex deliveries?
Flex is a dispatch method with a fixed rate, a price that is determined when you create the delivery. This method works like Next Day, with a cut-off time at 11:00 a.m., collection time between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on the same day, and a delivery time until the next day. It can also function as Same Day, with the difference being that the delivery time is until 9:30 p.m. of the current day. If you don't know how the rate is calculated or need more information, request the Welcome Manual from your local operations team.
What are On demand deliveries (ex Regular)?
Type: We collect from your store or warehouse and deliver immediately, directly to the end customer. You can create individual dispatches or hundreds of deliveries simultaneously on our platform. This mode is ideal for deliveries relatively close to each other, or for products that cannot pass through our warehouse due to their characteristics.
After you create your tasks, we'll combine your deliveries into optimal routes. When they're ready, you'll be able to see the final prices, as a recalculation is done taking into account the distance between the delivery point and the previous point on the route. This mode has a base rate, and an additional fee is charged for distances over 4km.
Collection time: You can select it from several collection time ranges of 3 hours between collection and direct delivery from your warehouse or store to the customer, between 9:00 and 18:00 hours. Options: 09:00 - 12:00 / 12:00 - 15:00 / 15:00 - 18:00 hours. We publish your routes approximately 1 hour before the collection range.
Delivery time: After collection, delivery is made immediately. This may vary and is subject to whether there are more than one delivery point and traffic conditions. All deliveries will be made by 21:30 hours at the latest.
How much time in advance should I create the task?
At least 2 hours before the time you need the packages to be collected.
What is the flow of deliveries in the application??
The flow is as follows: Deliveries are created with the status of Processing or Pending Review. In the latter, the store operator must correct the address and locate the correct delivery point on the map.
With all deliveries in Processing, Shippify will create one or more delivery routes based on quantity and location. Remember that one shipper is assigned per route. You will see these routes in your Shippify account, and with this information, the store operator or warehouse manager must separate packages for the arrival of the assigned shippers. Remember that deliveries will be of the Flex type, so the collection time range is wide and you will see it in each delivery created in the IN PROGRESS section.
After the packages are collected, the Shipper will deliver them and update the delivery statuses in the platform, updates that will also be recorded in Shopify. Then, completed deliveries will move to the SENT section.
Can I cancel the deliveries?
Deliveries can be canceled from the Shippify application at no cost, but only when they are still in the Pending Review or Processing status and when they do not yet have a Shipper assigned. After these states, you can only request cancellation by contacting a Shippify operator. These types of cancellations are subject to penalties, such as partial or full payment of the delivery being canceled depending on the situation.
Note: Shopify does not allow changing the "fulfilled" status, so the orders would remain with the "fulfilled" status in Shopify and in Shippify as a canceled order.
What if I am a "Prepaid" company and do not have credits loaded to create deliveries in Shippify?
You can log in to your Shippify account at https://dash.shippify.co and purchase credits from the menu located at the top right corner. After that, you'll be able to create your deliveries again. You can make the payment with a Credit Card or Transfer. For more commercial details, you can contact us through our website.
Why does my delivery have more than 1 package if all my products go in a single package??
By default, the delivery created from Shopify to Shippify will count all the products corresponding to that purchase (meaning, if your customer bought 5 products, the system will create 1 delivery with 5 products). This implies that the system will charge for 1 delivery plus 4 additional packages in total. If your products usually go in the same package, please let us know at integrations@shippify.co so we can configure this internally and avoid additional charges (this configuration may take around 7 business days).
